Apex Geomatics is hiring experienced Construction Surveyors!
We have immediate openings for multiple surveyors — with various scheduling options, ample overtime, and Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) opportunities available across multiple Western Canadian provinces.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and perform field survey tasks independently or with a Survey Assistant.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain advanced survey equipment and vehicles.
- Prepare accurate daily field notes, sketches, and reports following Apex procedures.
- Maintain clear communication between field and office teams.
- Actively participate in Apex’s Health and Safety Program.
- Adhere to QA/QC best practices to deliver precise results.
- Mentor and train Junior Surveyors and Survey Assistants.
- Coordinate priorities and deliverables with client representatives.
- Represent Apex professionally during all client interactions.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma in Geomatics Technology or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years as a Surveyor, preferably in construction.
- Proficiency with Trimble Robotic Total Stations, RTK, and related software.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- CSTS 2020 certification (required).
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol screening (safety-sensitive role).
