Our client is a well-established general contractor with over 35 years of experience delivering high-quality retail, corporate, and specialty construction projects. They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and client expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle from initiation to completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Coordinate with the Site Supervisor and Project Coordinator to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
- Manage procurement of supplies, tools, and equipment
- Ensure all required permits and inspections are completed
- Uphold safety and building code compliance throughout all phases
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks
- Maintain consistent documentation, reporting, and quality control measures
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects (retail, airport and corporate sectors preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction management delivery models
- Hands-on experience with CCDC 2, 5A and 5B contract formats
- Ability to lead and mentor diverse project teams
- Excellent organizational, budgeting, and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Post-secondary education in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- PMP certification and health & safety training are strong assets
