Helix Contracting is a growing general contractor specializing in the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Industry.
Our customers are Municipal, Provincial and Federal governments throughout Ontario.
We are looking for individuals that possess strong leadership skills and are willing to travel to different job sites within North Western Ontario
We are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Perform basic carpentry tasks as directed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
Additional Information
This position requires a candidate who is comfortable working for multiple weeks at a time.
The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances but are not limited to:
- Criminal Background Check
- Government Security Screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 per hour
