Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
C & G Concrete is a small construction company based out of Shelburne, ON. We have been in business since 1992. We complete various types of concrete projects and the daily functions of the work include excavation, forming , pouring & finishing concrete and landscape restoration.
We are willing to train employees on these tasks as well as how to operate a skid steer, etc. We are looking for 1 person to fit in with our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites.
- Load and unload materials and tools.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction work.

Contract length: 9 months
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
