We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in Construction and repair tasks, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues effectively and perform a variety of tasks to enhance the overall environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
- Handle carpentry, drywall and painting tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards..
- Keep accurate records of construction activities and repairs performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting and general repair techniques.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
