Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various concrete-related tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites.
Duties
- Set forms for concrete sidewalks, driveways, patios, stairs and walls.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and set up wood forms.
- Install formwork for concrete placement, ensuring proper dimensions, alignment and level.
- Place and secure rebar.
- Engage in heavy lifting and manual labor as required during forming processes.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques related to concrete forming is highly desirable.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor is essential for this role.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
