Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete installation and finishing techniques, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. This role requires physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.
Duties
- Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete according to project specifications.
- Assist with grades and ability to work under minimal supervision at times.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, such as trowels and floats, to achieve broom, stamped or exposed finish. Experience with decorative concrete is a must.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, or masonry work is preferred, 2-3 years minimum.
- Own transportation to shop or jobsite is required. Valid drivers license with clean record as company vehicles can be provided for day to day use.
- Strong physical stamina with the capability of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment used in concrete work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
