Court at Laurelwood is looking for a new team member who will support our mission of cultivating happiness in the daily lives of our residents.

The Concierge is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of
Residents and is vital to cultivating happiness in daily living of the seniors we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond warmly and professionally to resident and visitor inquiries, using problem-solving and complaint resolution skills. Ensure all complaints are documented and forwarded to the General Manager.
- Greet and assist visitors with a friendly, unhurried approach, and conduct mini tours in line with community policies and procedures.
- Promote excellent customer service in all interactions with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
- Coordinate reservations for dining, transportation, and activities as requested by guests.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date.
- Respond to resident emergencies and life pendants while following company policy.
- Provide clerical and computer support to managers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of cash transactions related to guest and team member meal vouchers/tickets.
- Support other community needs and performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and proven customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Must demonstrate computer proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word and power point.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership in the absence of management.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario requirement).
- Compliance with provincial police check and 2 step tuberculosis screening requirements.
Bonus Points
Post-secondary training in office administration or a related field.
