Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Day job
Work Location: Scarborough, In-Person
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Overtime may be needed during weekends and will be compensated.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, bi-weekly pay issuance, pay days on Fridays.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Computer Technician at our Warehouse location. This role will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer systems, with a strong focus on laptops and related equipment. This role requires both hands-on technical skills and investigative troubleshooting methods, ranging from minor adjustments to major system overhauls, including hardware replacement and complete operating system reinstallation.
The technician will customize hardware and software configurations according to order requirements, ensuring systems are optimized with the latest updates. Responsibilities also include performing specialized tests and measurements on laptops, following strict assembly protocols, and verifying each stage of the process to guarantee quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute both physical and investigative methods to identify computer issues, including minor adjustments and major repairs such as hardware replacement or total operating system revamp.
- Customize or modify components according to client needs, incorporating the latest software updates.
- Carry out specific tests and measurements on laptops using specialized instruments for laptop reconstruction.
- Adhere to rigorous laptop assembly protocols, verifying all stages of the process.
- Follow all company procedures in line with established standards and operational rules.
- Assume additional duties related to operations as the company grows.
- Knowledge of Chinese is beneficial.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of computer technology.
- Skilled in Excel usage.
- Capacity to learn and apply ERP software effectively.
- Physical ability to lift items weighing between 20lb to 30lb.
- Technically skilled, attentive to detail, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Chinese
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT equipment handling or a similar role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to handling electronic equipment.
- Bachelors or higher education degrees in IT related fields.
