True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for energetic individuals to join the 2025/26 Community Relations Team.
This team performs a wide range of important duties to ensure the delivery of a superior fan experience at Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose home games, as well as other events within the community.
- Serve as Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose brand ambassadors during home games, as well as at events such as festivals, community parades, sporting events, etc.
- Help set up and execute in-game community initiatives such as the Teddy Bear Toss or Toy Drive.
- Sell raffle tickets for signed jerseys and other fundraising campaigns as part of our hockey fights cancer initiatives.
- Assist with autograph signings and meet and greets.
- Accompany Mick E. Moose during appearances throughout the province.
- Assist and be part of the Learn to Play ball hockey initiative.
- Be part of a collaborative, creative, and energetic team.
- Age Requirement: 18+
- Other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
- Must be outgoing, positive, and have an energetic personality with a fan first mentality.
- Comfortable working with large crowds in a loud, fun, and dynamic environment.
- Well organized, good attention to detail, and strong ability to follow-up.
- Team oriented individual who has the ability to work in a group atmosphere.
- Ability to take initiative and work at times unsupervised.
- A respectable attitude and an ability to communicate in a manner that reflects the brand in a positive way.
- Ability to exhibit discretion and confidentiality as required.
- Requirement to stand and walk for long periods on concrete surfaces.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs., and regularly to lift 5 lbs.
- Flexible availability that includes week days, evenings and weekends.
