The position at a glance

We are looking for a savvy and enthusiastic Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. You will be responsible for supporting the team’s corporate communications, working on video content, executing on social media campaigns, helping the events and philanthropy related events and the reporting of our results.

In detail

The successful candidate will be an excellent writer and someone who can adapt their work to various audiences and occasions easily. You will both execute existing strategy and participate in the creation of new campaigns, internal as well as external, and should be comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will have facility with analytics, be able to understand social media metrics, and be able to draw narrative conclusions from the data to inform our content strategy. You will have knowledge in filming and video editing.

This is a role with growth potential as you will have exposure to all facets of the organization and the opportunity to learn not only the roles and operations within the Marketing and Communications department, but across the bank as a whole. Intelligence, agility, and curiosity are the traits most important to success.

Responsibilities include:

    Writing and editing corporate communications.
    Publishing social media posts to the company’s platforms.
    Developing social media content plans around specific events, initiatives, and publications in collaboration with the internal communications, events, and press teams.
    Using analytical tools, both third-party and in-house, to monitor and evaluate performance and preparing monthly reports on that performance.
    Staying current on corporate communications and social media best practices, trends, and changes to the platforms on which we operate.
    Creating high-impact written, visual, and video content to enhance brand storytelling across digital channels both internally and externally.
    Overseeing end-to-end video creation, including filming, lighting, sound design, and post-production editing.
    Supporting the person in charge of events and philanthropy.

Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday.

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    Minimum 3 years of experience.
    You will need a level of facility with numbers and the ability to manipulate data.
    Knowledge of filming, lighting, audio recording, and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut or similar tools – excluding Capcut or similar tools).
    Powerpoint and Excel.
    Experience with community management for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) is a significant plus.
    Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of French and English is required.
