RoboThink Niagara is a locally owned and operated STEM education provider, proudly bringing world-class robotics and coding programs to children across the Niagara region. As part of RoboThink’s global network in 25+ countries, we combine global resources and curriculum with local passion and community engagement to inspire the next generation of innovators.
We offer hands-on after-school and weekend programs, workshops, camps, and birthday parties for children aged 5–14. In partnership with local schools, community centres, and organizations, we deliver high-quality STEM learning experiences both at our learning centre and offsite locations across the region. Through fun and engaging activities, we help kids develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence through STEM learning.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors to join our team in Niagara for our STEM Robotics & Coding Programs. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, technology, and empowering young learners through meaningful and creative learning experiences.
No prior experience in robotics or coding? No problem! We provide training to get you up to speed.
What You'll Do
- Lead hands-on STEM robotics & coding class in a fun and engaging way
- Use RoboThink materials to guide students through exciting building and coding projects
- Support and encourage students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Set up and clean up classroom spaces before and after each session
- Communicate with parents about student progress
- Provide feedback and insights to RoboThink Niagara management team
- Support RoboThink event and activities
Who We're Looking For
You're a great fit if you:
- Love working with kids (ages 4-14) and making learning exciting
- Are responsible, confident, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Enjoy problem-solving and taking initiative
- Are comfortable learning and teaching robotics & coding (training provided!)
- Have experience working with children in an educational setting
- Have a background or interest in coding, engineering, or robotics (preferred but not required)
- Have access to a car and can travel within the Niagara region
- Experience working with young children (Pre-K, Grade 1 – 8)
- Are a local teacher (full-time, supply, or occasional) - preferred but not required
- Certifications in CPR-C/AED and/or High Five (Principles of Healthy Child Development) - bonus skills, not required
