Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts and components that meet quality standards.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Program and set up CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to understand project requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in production.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools for assembly and packaging of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with warehouse practices.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in manufacturing or machining environments.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks is preferred.
- Knowledge of welding processes is a plus.
- Experience with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
