CNC Machinist

We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team!

• You will need to perform your own set-ups and operation of parts with minimal supervision
• Utilize measuring equipment to maintain tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.
• Familiar with Fanuc, Fagor controls, Okuma knowlege an asset.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.

• Positive attitude and team oriented.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Red seal certificate, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice with minimum 2 years experience.
• Operational knowledge of CNC lathe and mills required.
• Detailed knowledge of choosing proper parameters of machines and materials.
• Knowledge of operation of manual Machines.
• Ability to machine parts within the specification/tolerance.
• Knowledge of reading blueprints and machining symbols.
• Proactive in making recommendations for improvements to the processes and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
