Position title: Clubs Resources Coordinator
Reports to: Vice President, Administration
Employee status: Hourly Exempt, Appointed
Length of term: August 15, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Hours per week: 15 hours per week
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Position Purpose:
The Clubs Resources Coordinator manages the Clubs Resources Commons and its equipment rental program to ensure efficient operations and broaden access for student clubs. This position enhances the Commons as a hub for student connection by developing inclusive programming and facilitating club engagement. By activating the space through events and services, the role contributes to a stronger, more connected club community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Spearheading the orientation of the space to clubs and students (e.g., procuring materials, working on programming for clubs and students, etc.).
- Oversee general maintenance of the space, ensuring it remains accessible, welcoming, and functional.
- Maintain regular office hours for equipment pickup and club support.
- Design and deliver inclusive programming and a public calendar of events.
- Administer the rental service, including tracking inventory, usage, and booking logistics.
- Address and resolve conflicts related to misuse of the Centre or its equipment in a timely and professional manner.
- Attend weekly meetings and report on activities.
- Coordinating with the Marketing & Communications department for advertising events.
- Sits on the Clubs and Societies Committee and contributes to broader club support initiatives.
- Prepare a transition report for successor.
- Works with the AMS mission statement and values to operate a successful department.
- Assist the Vice-President Administration as required.
- Uphold the AMS’s mission, values, constitution, and Strategic Plan.
- Other duties as required.
- Must be a currently registered student at UBC Vancouver or one of its affiliated colleges
- May not be an executive of an AMS Club, Constituency or Resource Group

- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
- Enthusiastic, open-minded, eager to get involved and take initiative
