The Toronto Psychology Clinic is looking for highly motivated, talented, and compassionate Psychologists and Psychological Associates interested in building a thriving caseload to join our growing team of professionals!
At this time we are prioritizing hiring associates with experience in and strong interest in further growing skills in couple therapy and/or psychodiagnostic assessment.
We deliver evidence-based, culturally-informed services to adolescents, adults, and couples. Our focus is on providing interventions that integrate across well-validated methods of psychotherapy models (e.g., EFT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, contemporary psychodynamic).
You will have the opportunity to engage in multiple monthly peer consultations that are led by the clinic director that include : private practice management, individual psychotherapy, couple psychotherapy, and assessment. We also opportunities to start and run group/workshop of your own interest.

- Training and Consultation: We encourage and support personal growth and work-life balance for our associates by providing regular peer and 1:1 consutlations in individual and couple psychotherapy, psychodiagnostic assessment, work-life balance, cybersecurity and integrative psychotherapy.
- Business of Private Practice: Many of our clinicians who joined our team are new to private practice. We provide comprehensive support in managing the busines of your own private practice (all of what they don’t teach you in grad school). This includes 1:1 consultation with the clinic director as well as templates and tools design to assist practitioners in doing their best work. We strongly believe that if the clinician is thriving in their caseload the clinic does well as a collective.
- Values: Our clinic values relationships, autonomy, and advocacy for mental health services. Many of our therapists have gained the self-confidence, skills and felt empowered to start their own practices with a strong focus on areas of mental health that they felt marginalized in some way - providing a unique service to our community
- Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive: We provide psychological interventions to BIPOC and marginalized people using anti-racist and anti-oppressive frameworks. Our staff represent diverse lived experiences and collectively we have developed consult groups that are popular among our staff as we cover topics that are not discussed in traditional graduate programs.
- Expert Talks: The clinic runs seminars with invited experts in a range of areas based on the interests of the associates
- Diverse referrals and Hybrid Model of care: Our clinic offers a diverse range of referrals and opportunities for collaboration with a multidisciplinary group of professionals. We offer referrals for building virtual and in-person caseloads.
- Lifestyle: Our office is located near the Eaton Centre, in the heart of downtownToronto where there is a plethora of things to see and do. Close to Nathan Philips square, the CN tower and Kensington market - all popular destinations with locals and visitors alike! What YOU will bring as Psychologist/Psychological Associate:
- MA / PhD / PsyD in a Social, Clinical, Counseling, etc. program
- Registration in good standing with the CPBAO
- Minimum 3 years of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and provision of psychotherapy services for adolescents and/or adults
- Training in evidence-based interventions and a strong interest in psychotherapy integration
- Excellent case conceptualization skills
- Strong interest in working with complexity and diversity in client presentation.
- Interested in building a thriving private practice
- Interest in working both virtually and in-person
- Candidate must be motivated, mature, and ethically sound
- Family and Couple therapy experience would be an asset
- ADHD assessment and treatment experience would be an asset
- Experience working with people who identify as South Asian, Middle Eastern and/or Muslim would be an asset.
- Fluency in a second language such as Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Farsi, Bengali, Russian, Spanish, Portugesem Mandarin, or Cantonese is an asset
- BIPOC folx and those who identify with a marginalized group are particularly encouraged to apply
