Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. Your role will involve performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, offices, common areas, and other facilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or scrub floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.
- Perform routine inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff and visitors in a professional manner
- Ability to lift heavy objects or equipment as required for cleaning purposes
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Effective communication skills to understand instructions and relay information as needed
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in cleaning activities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
Note: This position may require the use of power tools for certain maintenance tasks. Training will be provided if necessary.
