Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways and lobbies
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage is a plus
- with BSW Certificate , WHMIS Certificate
- Must possess a valid driver's license in BC
