Locally owned and operated insurance brokerage looking to hire a full-time Claims Associate for a Maternity Leave position (12 Months). Monday-Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and administer self-insured benefit plans and Cost Plus. This includes items such as enrollments, terminations, processing claims, processing payments, deposits/electronic funds transfers, monthly billing, etc.
- Answer incoming calls to department and handle accordingly.
- Cross trained to individual department to have a basic understanding of this area of business.
- Present a positive and professional image of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Office Administration Certificate or Diploma would be an asset, however, not required.
- Resourceful and highly organized.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to prioritize duties and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Previous experience is an asset, however, not required. Full training will be provided to the candidate chosen.
