Metanoia is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Chocolatier or Chocolate Fountain Specialist to run our signature chocolate station on weekends. This role is perfect for someone who knows chocolate and understands the beauty of a smooth, flawless chocolate flow and further loves being with people.
Your Role Includes:
- Setting up and operating our chocolate fountain to optimal flow and consistency
- Monitoring chocolate temperature and flow throughout the day
- Melting and tempering chocolate as needed (milk, white, and/or dark)
- Maintaining chocolate inventory – restocking, measuring usage, tracking waste
- Dipping fresh fruit, cookies, and croissants with precision and care
- Creating and assembling some specific recipes from metanoia Cafe and chocolate-based desserts
- Keeping the chocolate area spotless and food-safe at all times
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience working with chocolate fountains or chocolate prep
- Understand chocolate tempering and flow maintenance
- Are extremely clean, organized, and calm under pressure
- Can manage stock and communicate when ingredients are running low
- Are friendly and engaging with both customers and the team
- Can commit to all weekends (Friday through Sunday)
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
