We are looking for a motivated Chinese-speaking Marketing & Advertising Assistant to help grow our businesses — with a primary focus on the Chinese-speaking community in the GTA.
You will handle online marketing, promotion, and lead generation — working mostly from home, with 1 day per week in our Mississauga office for coordination.
You will also earn commission on successful leads that convert to deals.
Responsibilities:
- Promote services specifically to Chinese community channels (WeChat, Chinese websites/forums, local groups)
- Create and manage ads on Facebook, Instagram, Kijiji, WeChat, and Google
- Respond to customer inquiries in Chinese and English
- Translate and adapt marketing materials to Chinese audiences
- Help design basic graphics (Canva or similar tools)
- Generate leads and follow up with clients
- Track ad performance and provide reports
- Manage and update social media presence targeting Chinese audience
- 1 in-office day/week (Brampton) for planning and coordination
Requirements:
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English
- Familiarity with Chinese community advertising platforms (WeChat, Chinese forums, Chinese FB groups, local networks)
- Experience with online marketing is an asset
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to manage time and work independently
- Available for 1 office day/week in Brampton
Compensation:
- Base pay (negotiable based on experience)
- Plus commission on successful leads converted to sales
Preferred:
- Experience marketing online .
- Existing knowledge of GTA Chinese community networks
