The Channel Account Manager, IT/ID, is responsible for driving LG’s market share within the assigned Channel Reseller Partners in Canada. This role focuses on the ongoing account management and business development of partners, with a primary emphasis on LG’s full line of IT and ID Media Solutions—including monitors, laptops, thin clients, projectors, and digital signage.
As an integral part of the B2B sales organization, the Channel Account Manager will work closely with reseller partners to identify, develop, and grow accounts to their fullest potential. The position requires a strong balance of strategic account planning, relationship management, and proactive execution to achieve sales targets and drive long-term mutual growth.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate as the lead point of contact for assigned reseller partner accounts.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting reseller and end-user relationships.
- Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement collaborative business plans that deliver long-term mutual growth.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate reseller needs on an ongoing basis.
- Manage forecast accuracy and align with Business Management to ensure proper planning.
- Partner with internal demand teams to manage channel and LG inventory levels, ensuring fulfillment of current and future projects.
- Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing spend and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Minimum 5–10 years of channel sales experience with a proven track record of proactive results
- Experience within the IT or Digital Signage industry is preferred
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to influence key decision makers
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
