Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker for our client at Grimsby. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individual recovering from car injuries. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with family members. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Provide mobility support and safe transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Ensure client safety and comfort at all times
- Work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- Current Police Clearance (including Vulnerable Sector Check)
- Valid Work Permit (if applicable)
- Ability to speak Tagalog is an asset
