We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food service for a variety of events, ensuring that all meals are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and client requirements.
- Set up and break down catering events, ensuring all food is served in an appealing manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests during events and addressing any dietary needs or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and serving areas throughout the event.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during events.
- Assist with meal planning and menu development based on client preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Skills
- Strong experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving within the food industry.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A creative approach to meal presentation and menu design.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

- Kitchen: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate (required)
- Full G License and over 25 years old for insurance (required)
