As a Casual Transit Bus Driver in Cranbrook, you will support community members by providing accessible transportation between Kimberley and Cranbrook. You’ll provide safe, reliable, and respectable transportation while offering the kind of support that makes every ride feel personal. - Safely transport passengers between cities
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids (if needed)
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately
- Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone
- Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns
- Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as required by Provincial legislation and record any minor vehicle defects onto the vehicle daily
- Valid Driver's License - minimum of Class 4
- Ability to pass the required enhanced criminal record check, and drug & alcohol test
- Provide a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work independently and interact politely with the public and staff
- Physically able to perform all job duties
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Previous taxi or shuttle driving experience

Training Wage: $17.94 per/hour
