Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. As a Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service while managing various sales and merchandising tasks. This position requires proficiency in both English and another language, making it ideal for bilingual or multilingual candidates.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and engagement.
- Engage in technology sales by promoting innovative products and solutions to customers.
- Utilize effective merchandising techniques to display products attractively and strategically within the retail environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain organized inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves as needed.
- Employ upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone or other communication channels.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous for efficient transaction processing.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction management.
- Strong organizational skills are required to maintain an orderly work environment and manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers and collaborating with team members.
- Experience in merchandising is a plus, contributing to the overall presentation of products in the store.
