Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Multi-Role Restaurant Employee. This position is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about the restaurant industry and enjoys taking on various responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained to perform tasks as a cashier, pack food for takeout orders, and assist with cooking duties.
Responsibilities:
Cashier:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Accurately handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and provide correct change.
- Input orders into the POS system and ensure order accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
Packaging:
- Assemble and pack food orders for takeout and delivery.
- Ensure that all orders are packaged correctly and in a timely manner.
- Double-check orders for accuracy before handing them to customers or delivery drivers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
Cooking:
- Assist the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking as needed.
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking station.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the flexibility to switch between roles seamlessly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing correct change.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
