For over 30 years, View Point Construction has been providing construction services to clients in the Vancouver area. Our focus has always been to offer high quality work in a respectful, responsible and reliable manner to all of our clients. Our projects range from new builds and extensive renovations to small renovations and maintenance for our customers.
We are looking for carpenters with 1 to 3 years of experience in residential construction to join our team. The position will include on-site carpentry from framing to finishing, and general construction as well as assisting the site-supervisor. This position may lead to managing smaller projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
· On-site carpentry & general construction with emphasis on a high quality of work
· Working with the site-supervisor to communicate with and help coordinate all job-site activities & trades
· Manage schedules to meet deadlines
· Act professionally with clients, trades, and colleagues at all times
Skills & Requirements
· 1 to 3 years of experience in residential construction
· Valid drivers license
· A positive attitude with good listening & communication skills
· Well organized
· Energetic & passionate
· Motivated to learn, develop, and grow with the business
Details
· Full time: 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
· Permanent, long-term employment

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
