What You'll Do:
- Master Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Precision Layouts: Prepare layouts that conform to building codes using precise measuring tools.
- Craftsmanship in Action: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and more.
- Foundation and Structure: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Site Surveys: Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Instruct apprentices, supervise other workers, and estimate costs and materials.
- Prefab Expertise: Develop an understanding of prefab methodologies and be curious to learn and grow with our team.
