We are seeking a Caregiver to assist our male employer with all aspects of daily living.
He has a very social, outgoing personality. Some of his hobbies include working out, swimming, watching movies, and perusing social media.
Location:
- New Westminster (Near Columbia Skytrain Station)
Shifts and Hours:
- 15 to 24 hours a week
- Start times vary between 9am and 12pm
- Flexibility considered an asset
Compensation:
- $23 per hour (review after probation period)
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Assisting with personal care such as showering/bathing, grooming, bowel routine/bathroom care
- Condom Catheter care
- Assist with medication administration
- Light meal prep and feeding assistance
- Transfers using ceiling lift
- Support going on errands/appointments/social events (specifically taking client to physio appointments)
Required Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn
- Comfortable working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community
- Comfortable with big dogs and assisting to care for them
- Computer and Social Media savvy is an asset
- Ability to assist with occasional travel is an asset
- Full BC or Canadian Drivers License is required
