Overview:
Miracle Beach Provincial Park and campground.
We are seeking an outdoor-enthusiast and caretaker to join our team and help cover some day time duties.
You will play a vital role in providing daily upkeep, care and support to provincial park facilities, and serving park visitors throughout the camping season.
Duties:
- Ensure that all campsites, washrooms, shower building and day use areas are well-maintained regularly, so that the park is clean and pristine
-Help keep playgrounds and lanes tidy and safe
- Provide excellent guest service and information to park visitors
- Collect permit fees and issue provincial camping permits (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all visitors
- Monitor and report revenue, incidents and traffic or visitor counts (park dependent)
Requirements:
- Must pass and provide an RCMP records check for 'working with vulnerable persons sector'
- Excellent communication and public interaction skills
