We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cake & Pastry Assembler to join our mighty team! About the Role
This is a full-time position, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Some overtime may be required during busy periods. The role focuses on assembling and finishing cakes and pastries — layering, filling, smoothing and decorating. You’ll also help with light prep work and general kitchen support as needed
What You’ll Do
- Assemble cakes with fillings, layers, and clean finishes
- Add basic decor (e.g. piping borders, placing toppers, glazing, dusting, etc.)
- Finish pastries with creams, glazes, chocolate, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow kitchen procedures and timelines and work efficiently as a part of the team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in a pastry or bakery kitchen (professional or home-based with strong skills), including cake assembly and basic finishing techniques
- Comfortable using pastry tools (e.g. spatula, piping bag, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good pace and time management
- Punctual, positive, and a team player
Bonus Points For
- Food handler certification (not required, but preferred)
