We are currently seeking Construction Real Estate Lawyers to join Axiom's network and support our highly well-known clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a caseload including acquisitions and dispositions, planning and development, expropriations, construction, energy, environmental issues, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and/or support due diligence efforts, including title and lease3 reviews, in connection with major transactions and cross-functional business initiatives.
- Advise on complex redevelopment projects, ensuring alignment with operations requirements and strategic business goals.
- Analyze and interpret contracts and relevant legislations, and prepare clear, actionable legal opinions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and physically located in any Canadian province.
- Over 8 years of experience specializing in: commercial leasing, real estate transactions, construction, planning and development, environmental, or energy law.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
