The Cabinetry Installer works out in the field installing closets and kitchen cabinetry. He/she is responsible to ensure that cabinetry is installed to RMG’s quality standards to meet or exceed client expectations. Install work takes place in both new build construction and existing residential homes, lived-in/occupied by homeowners.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Install closets and kitchens, including hardware and wire shelving
- Use appropriate tools of the trade to complete the job to company standards
- Provide excellent customer service to homeowners, builders, contractors etc.
- Successfully troubleshoot issues when they arise by finding quick and accurate solutions
- Work independently to complete installations in an efficient manner
- Pickup and deliver components to site, from the warehouse, as part of the closet install
- Communicate effectively with Sales, Installation and Warehouse staff to ensure orders are properly completed, and that all materials required for installation are accounted for
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Appropriately document all product/installation deficiencies and determine the nature of any required service work
- Handle general customer service inquiries when required

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Completion of a 3-to-4-year apprenticeship program is preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years skilled cabinet installation experience.
- Customer service experience.
