Boiserie Sébo Woodwork is a residential high-end Cabinetry/Millwork company located in Orléans, Ontario. We have been producing high end custom cabinetry and millwork for the Ottawa market for over 19 years.
4 day work week! Monday to Thursday 7am to 5:30pm.
We are looking for a Finishing manager. In this position, you will be primarily responsible for the finishing of high-end custom millwork and cabinetry, and overseeing the finishing department.
The ideal candidate has a good work ethic, has high attention to detail and is committed to producing a high quality product.
Major Activities include:
- Preparing millwork and cabinetry components for finishing by prepping, sanding and staining/painting surfaces.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Possessing or developing a high level of attention to detail.
- Initiating specialty finishing such as hand spraying complex parts, glazing, distressing, high gloss polishing ect...
- Supervising team members in this department consisting of about 4-5 people.
- Ordering of required material such as lacquers, paints, stains ect...
- Overseeing spray machine operation and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Experience in cabinet finishing
- good oral and written communication skills
- willingness to learn
- ability to work independently and as a team member
- ability to maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to lift a minimum of 50+ pounds
- ability to work standing for up to 8 hours per day
- proactive in pointing out potential issues
- ability to work quickly and change direction as needed
- good knowledge of Kremlin pumps and spray gun an asset
