Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinets, performing installations, and ensuring that all work meets our standards of excellence. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with other team members and may also assist in various construction-related tasks.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Construct, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for custom cabinetry.
- Execute cabinet installations with precision, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Assist in other construction tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, and caulking when required.
- Utilize CNC machinery for precise cuts and designs as necessary.
- Conduct construction painting to finish cabinetry to client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and completed projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics is required.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery is necessary.
- Experience in cabinet installation, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, siding, caulking, rebar installation, masonry, assembly, construction estimating, maintenance person tasks is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
