Cabinet & Millwork Installer

Job Description:
City Trades Construction is seeking a highly experienced Cabinet & Millwork Installer to join our team on a contract or daily basis. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in high-end custom installations who takes pride in precision, professionalism, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from detailed shop drawings, architectural plans, and on-site instructions
- Perform precision installation of custom cabinetry and architectural millwork in both residential and commercial settings
- Ensure clean, accurate, and level installations that align with project specs and design intent
- Handle on-site modifications and adjustments as required
- Apply finishing touches including trim, panels, and hardware
- Work independently or collaboratively with team members depending on project needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, project managers, and other trades on-site
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in cabinet and millwork installation
- Full understanding of cabinetry and millwork construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, architectural plans, and technical specs
- Own full set of tools suitable for professional installation work
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites across the Lower Mainland (occasional travel to Vancouver Island or other BC locations may be required)
- Strong communication, punctuality, and site etiquette
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to top-tier workmanship — subpar work is not tolerated
