The Northern Alberta Business Incubator Society (NABI), created by the City of St. Albert, supports startups and small businesses with right-sized space on business-friendly terms, mentorship, resources, and community. The Role
We’re looking for a Programs and Community Engagement Coordinator to strengthen NABI’s role as a hub for entrepreneurs in St. Albert and the Edmonton region. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about entrepreneurship, skilled in community engagement, and eager to make an impact.
What You’ll Do:
Primary focus areas
- Engage with NABI clients, alumni, and prospects to support their growth.
- Develop and deliver business programs, events, and workshops.
- Build relationships/partnerships with stakeholders, government, and the business community.
- Lead marketing and communications to boost NABI’s visibility.
- Assist with grants (identification, writing, reporting).
Secondary focus areas
- Collect and analyze client/program data to create reports and to inform future initiatives.
- Represent NABI at community events and support organizational projects.
- Assist with client surveys, annual report, maintain website and social media accounts
Other (Misc.) Tasks
- Support NABI staff as needed.
- Projects assigned by Executive Director.
What You Bring
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- 3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing and website updates.
- 3–5 years’ experience in stakeholder or community relations.
- Event planning, program development, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, compile, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making.
- Experience with grant writing and CRM software will be considered an asset.
