Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in expanding our customer base and enhancing relationships within the industry. Based in Western Canada, you will play a key role in driving business growth and ensuring our services remain essential to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct required number of weekly account visits to achieve determined account coverage
- Execute daily outbound phone calls/emails, contact prospective decision makers, build quick rapport.
- Report on sales activities.
- Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
- Developing in depth industry and service knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Driven attitude and hungry to learn
- Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Familiarity with project management principles is an asset.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel frequently to Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
