As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving data integrity, business insights, and process improvements within our sales and operations teams. Leveraging your expertise in Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, and Python, you will ensure accurate sales pipeline data, deliver actionable analytics, and help optimize business processes. You will also support Salesforce reporting and automation at a strong user level, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, and external partners. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into technical and process solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales Pipeline Integrity:
- Monitor and audit Salesforce sales pipeline data for accuracy and completeness.
- Work with the sales team to correct data issues and enforce CRM best practices.
- Analyze pipeline and sales performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for leadership.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Map and document current sales and operations processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Design solutions that balance business needs and technical feasibility.
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and automation flows at a strong user level (no full admin duties).
- Collaborate with IT or external Salesforce admins for more complex configuration needs.
- Design business processes for integrating external partner (reseller/distributor/system integrator) data into Salesforce and/or internal reporting systems.
- Integrate data from internal systems, third-party data providers, and other platforms to build a comprehensive data pipeline.
- Define requirements, oversee implementation, and validate results.
- Apply a strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, ETL processes, and data integrations using Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS).
- Process and transform data using Python to automate tasks and optimize data pipelines.
- Partner with internal IT and BI teams from a data governance perspective.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and communicate updates.
- Help train end-users on new processes and tools as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, or similar role in a sales-driven environment.
- 2+ years’ experience working with Salesforce at a strong user level, including reporting, dashboards, and automation flows.
- 2+ years’ experience with Tableau or other BI tools to create interactive dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, ETL (SSIS), and data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation tasks.
- Experience mapping business processes and recommending improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles is an asset.
- Familiarity with sales processes, KPIs, and partner/channel sales models is a plus.
