Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, the Building Painter will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Be familiar with the various equipment and techniques required to paint surfaces of different sizes;
- Clean and prepare surfaces, using techniques such as sanding;
- Repair damage (cracks, holes, irregularities) and apply joint compound;
- Respond to tasks assigned by the Technical Supervisor;
- Paint various surfaces (walls, furniture, doors, concrete floors, etc.), apply epoxy, stains, wood finishes, etc.;
- Respect the required timeframes for each task;
- Maintain the equipment provided;
- Ensure the cleanliness of the worksite;
- Use the Yardi system to communicate with the supervisor and update the status of ongoing work;
- Proudly represent MACH’s image with all building stakeholders (tenants, clients, users, staff, etc.);
- Perform any other related duties.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience in building maintenance;
- Knowledge of the Yardi system is an asset.
