The ideal candidate is passionate about both cannabis and customer service. They will be responsible for creating meaningful interactions with customers which is what we want to be known for. Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating meaningful interactions with customers
- Complete identification checks for all customers
- Educate consumers on the products.
- Seek opportunities to contribute and to improve business results daily
- Support with inventory management and practice proper section ownership to ensure customers have access to the right stock to drive sales
- Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists, etc.),
- Shared maintenance of the onsite facilities (example: cleaning washrooms)
- Abide by all company policies and programs.
- Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial and municipal legislation.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies
- 1-3 years of customer service experience (retail preferred)
- Be exceptional at creating a lasting customer experience and creating a sense of community by developing organic relationships with our customers
- Be insightful, genuinely curious good people that ensure our success by sharing cannabis wisdom and exceeding sales goals.
- You understand customer service and ask great questions to uncover customer intention in order to provide a personalized shopping experience.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- You are open to feedback and coaching
- You demonstrate high levels of integrity and personal responsibility
- Bonus points if you have worked in a regulated environment before
Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Able to lift boxes that are 5-30lbs.
- CANSELL License is required before commencing employment.
- Must be flexible with hours or work and be comfortable with ever changing duties
- Must be comfortable with opening and closing the store alone
- Criminal background check required
