Brunch Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, while ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
