Brow Bar Manager

The Brow Bar Manager - GTA East is responsible for building the business and achieving retail sales and service goals with their team of Brow & Beauty Expert (BBE’s), through daily coaching and role modelling of the Benefit Experience of Making Real Connections and performing short salon services including brow, facial waxing, lamination, and tinting.
The Brow Bar Manager is responsible for holding their team accountable for all aspects of their positions, leading by example, team selling, coaching, recruiting talent and leadership of the team. The Brow Bar Manager is also responsible for all scheduling of BBE’s, acting as the main liaison between the store and Benefit Corporate, executing successful events and promotions, and adhering to provincial service standards.
What You’ll Do:
Sales and Service
- Achievement of store retail sales & service goals.
- Onboard & educate new team members in partnership with Education.
- Continuously train team on services, product information, application, & demonstration technique.
- Divide service & retail sales goals between BBE’s & yourself & communicate goals daily.
- Continuously monitor stock levels.
- Monitor team performance, working with RAM to motivate & coach team.
- In partnership with your RAM, run events to drive sales.
- Perform short salon services.
- Ensure Brow Bar appointments & walk in clients are being serviced, through correct use of the appointment booking tool, walk in list & reminding the team ‘we are never booked.’
- Lead by Example. Demonstrate strong leadership skills; provide motivation, guidance, & structure.
- Maintain a professional, exuberant, bold & fun attitude so that atmosphere is playful and exciting.
- Create and maintain a partnership with Sephora Store Managers
- Always provide excellent customer service!
Service Supplies and Sanitation
- Ensure that all areas of the Brow Bar consistently achieve the highest standards of sanitation & hygiene
- Ensure that Sephora gondola consistently reflects a clean, well-stocked, “shopable” environment.
- Complete & submit monthly supply orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure that BBE’s are executing all morning/evening opening & closing procedures.
- Provide services offered on service menu.
Administration
- With your RAM, work with HR on performance management/employee relations concerns.
- Support your RAM with recruitment for your location.
- First point of contact for Call Outs from team.
- Complete regular My Objective & My Impact assessments in line with KPI’s from RAM/RSM.
- Accurately complete & deliver all weekly & monthly DBR productivity reports.
- Communicate “weekly tracking to bonus” results.
- Communicate monthly service & retail results to RAM for BBE bonus payouts.
- Conduct bi-monthly meetings with Sephora Store Leadership.
- Accurately follow all company time keeping procedures through ADP.
- Notify your management about absences according to company policy.
Other
- Follow all Benefit and Sephora rules and regulations including dress code & loss prevention regulations.
- Maintain a very high quality of personal hygiene.
- Attend mandatory Benefit training events and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Current Aesthetician certification/diploma required/preferred (based on provincial guidelines)
- 2-4 years’ experience as an Aesthetician and/or working in retail sales.
- Experience in Team Leadership a plus
- Proven sales and customer service track record
- Flexible regarding work hours; ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Initiate & manage change in a positive manner.
- Comfortable & competent at services and makeup application.
- Flexible & adaptable to client needs.
