If you are an individual that is interested to be in the hotel Industry, here is your chance. We are looking for individuals to join our dynamic Food and Beverage team!
Applicants must be committed to working early morning shifts that will start at 5 am or later depending on the operational needs of the hotel. Must be able to adapt to fast-paced environment while being professional and friendly. Must be comfortable in preparing Hot and Cold food items for the buffet.
Daily rotational tasks include the following:
- Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
- Manage the buffet efficiently and ensuring all items are available and area is clean and maintained
- Ensures knowledge of menu and products, good follow up for special requests
- Assumes at all times a pleasing and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow team members
- Preparing Breakfast Items using Rational Oven in the kitchen
- Clean tables, complete closing duties including the cleaning the breakfast area, dishwashing and re-stock tableware and other supplies
- May assist in Banquets
- Comply with Health & Safety procedures, Hyatt polices, and emergency procedures
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience is an asset.
- Comfortable with using a Tablet or PC
- Great conversational skills and teamwork oriented
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to listen and respond to demanding guest needs
- Physically capable of moving chairs, tables and safely lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must have English communication skills - reading and writing
- Able and willing to rotate work between Hosting, preparing food and beverage items for the buffet and washing of dishes.
- Able and willing to clean work area
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
