We are currently looking for a part-time Breakfast Host to join our team. The Marriott Breakfast Host will approach our guests in an attentive, friendly and service-oriented manner and provide each guest with a dining experience that will be remembered long after their stay.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party.
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs and placing a menu in front of the guest.
- Provide friendly and welcoming customer service to all hotel/restaurant guests.
- Schedule reservations in person and over the phone.
- Maintain communication with the Food and Beverage Team regarding reservation numbers and special requests.
- Provide information to guests regarding the menu, as well as hotel and local amenities and attractions.
- Must be available mornings, holidays and weekends
- Outstanding attention to detail – both personal grooming/appearance and in properly identifying guest’s needs, demeanor, and level of required service attention.
- Previous Host/Hostess experience preferred.
- Must have excellent English language skills and be able to speak, read and understand at a professional level.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
