Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks promptly.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and promotions.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Majority of shifts are weekend and very few during weekdays if needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20 per hour
