Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team at our Greenwich location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Cook will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
