Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Branding & Communications, the Branding & Communications Coordinator is responsible for the professional development and implementation of all marketing communications and branding activities for Centurion Asset Management Inc. and its group of companies.


The Branding & Communications Coordinator is accountable for the successful management of all marketing and advertising resources, contracts, tools and supplies for Centurion entities according to established standards and within established budgets.


Responsibilities

Relationship Development

Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Centurion and its advertising partners and suppliers. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.


Brand Management

Maintain the company’s brand standards and style. Manage marketing collateral. This includes coordinating the creation of swag and handling logo requests. Coordinate photoshoots, ensuring the quality of photos are in line with styling guidelines and shot objectives and manage the photo library to maintain organization and accessibility. Compile competitor reports and maintain Centurion’s brand identity, ensuring all materials align with branding standards and the overall marketing strategy.


Events
Assist with Centurion’s corporate events. Source and liaise with event vendors, booking venues, reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of event-related contracts, and ensuring all event logistics align with brand standards. Assist with the coordination and production of branded event materials, including signage, and collateral in a timely manner. Obtain and compare vendor quotes for event needs and ensure cost-effective decisions are made. Assist with the management of event-related invoicing and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation through the marketing team’s tracking systems. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of external events.


Communications
Assist with the development and editing of content across multiple communication channels, including but not limited to: company award submissions, external press announcements, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reports and activities, social media posts, and both internal and external newsletters. Assist with the management of day-to-day creative requests and help maintain consistency in brand voice and visual identity across all platforms. Coordinate translation services for bilingual materials (English/French) and ensure timely delivery of content. Collaborate with external printing partners for press checks, proof approvals, and the delivery and distribution of printed materials, ensuring all creative assets are finalized to a high standard and within deadline.


Operations
Support the creation and upkeep of clear, well-documented standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes tracking workflow, vendor management, and asset production processes to ensure consistency and quality across projects. Assist with the procurement and production of branded merchandise, signage, and promotional materials, while managing timelines and budgets. Source competitive quotes from multiple vendors, evaluating cost-effectiveness, and processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams as needed to ensure alignment with internal procedures and budget controls.


Industry and Product Knowledge

Maintain a constant awareness of the competitive environment for similar products, conducting extensive research when required to obtain a full understanding of competitive market positioning. Ensure that the Vice President of Marketing and Manager of Branding & Communications are provided with the most current, favourable view of Centurion’s products and its competitive value and proposition.


Compliance

Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure that all compliance procedures and regulatory requirements are followed with respect to the marketing process. Ensure that all materials are reviewed and approved by the Chief Compliance Officer prior to distribution to external parties.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing and advertising, preferably within the property advertising, securities and/or REIT industries;
  • Self-starter; highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives;
  • Strong project management skills, able to oversee a task from start to finish with little guidance and supervision;
  • Detail-oriented, able to resolve problems using relevant information, thinking and practical judgement;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once;
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups; and
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.
