Summary
At CircuitIQ, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our operations team. Based in Sudbury, you’ll help manage our day-to-day finances, keep our books organized, and support compliance across multiple functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting and financial clarity as we scale our business.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, subledgers, and accounts
- Record financial transactions and prepare journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Support payroll processing and remittances (CPP, EI, income tax)
- Prepare and submit tax filings (GST/HST, WSIB, EHT)
- Prepare financial and accounting reports
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and funding partners
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)
- Familiarity with Canadian payroll and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following is an asset:
- Managing books for funded or multi-project environments
- Preparing audit-ready financial reports
- Working in a fast-paced, startup setting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
